We are delighted to have you come learn a bit about us and hope to see you in person soon! BSLC was established in 1953 in Spokane, WA. We belong to the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. We follow the bible based teachings of Martin Luther, who reformed the early Christian Church based on these basic principles: Grace alone, Faith alone and Scripture alone.

What We Believe...
Grace Alone
God loves all the people of the world, even though they are sinful, rebel against Him and do not deserve His love. He sent his son, Jesus to love and save the ungodly. It is by God's grace we are saved, not by any works of our own.
Faith Alone
Jesus suffering and death on the cross was a substitute for all people. Those who hear and believe that Jesus died on the cross for them will have eternal life. There is no other way to heaven expect through Jesus Christ. God creates faith in Christ and gives people forgiveness of all their sins through Him.
Scripture Alone
The Bible is God's inerrant and infallible Word, in which He reveals His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ.
